Accomplishments list
When it comes to reminding ourselves of our strengths many of us struggle to think of anything to share. It is not that there isn't anything to share but that some things come so naturally to us that we often forget that they don't come so easily to everyone.
You might be naturally quite good at maths - when it comes to working something out such as how much to tip your waiter at the end of the meal, or quickly adding up the cost of your bills you might find yourself quickly adding the numbers up in your head without a second thought... now those of us who do not possess this talent know how it feels to break into a sweat when we've no access to a pen and paper, or even a calculator to enable us to get to the answer, wishing that we were better at mental maths.
Now for so many different things in the world we all have our strengths and weaknesses. We have all overcome trials in our lives that we never thought we would get through, and yet here we are on the other side, with lessons learned and a little more experience under our belts.
There are other more pleasant experiences that we have gained... treasured moments and experiences that make us feel proud, such as that dance performance on stage when you were at school, that contest you were afraid to enter and then ended up winning a prize for, the pure joy of seeing your child succeed in something you taught them, or a friend that couldn't thank you enough for the sound advice you offered during more difficult times.
Here is your opportunity to reminisce in all the ways that you have made yourself proud over the years.
Begin with something as simple as learning to walk and talk, or that prize you won on sports day when you were 5. Then work your way up to your current age, you'll be surprised at what you remember when you focus.
