Lets start at the beginning!

Hi, I'm Nicola, and welcome to our blog here at Knixter. I'm looking forward to sharing our story with you as we journey through this crazy thing called life, adding little pockets of calm where we can.

The purpose of Knixter is to assist us all in creating the life that we love. I know that things can get a little hectic from time to time and that with all of the commitments from work, to family, to paying the bills - it can sometimes become quite tricky managing to maintain a spiritual practice. Sometimes there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to live the mindful life that our souls so desperately crave. We want to show you that life doesn't need to get in the way of your spiritual well-being, in fact your spiritual well-being can become a part of your everyday life. I will be sharing the little ways and the bigger ways that I have found to incorporate mindfulness back into my life, and the ways that you can too. It is not without its difficulties, we all live busy lives, and find ourselves being pulled from our path from time to time. We trip, we stumble and sometimes we fall. But we always get back up. After all, living a more mindful life is also about the journey not just the destination.

And so that is what this blog is going to be about.

It's a place to record this journey that we call life. Figuring things out as I go along, with each issue that I face there will be a solution not far behind it. As other people share their own experiences with me, I will endeavour to learn and discover.

Some of the things I find might become a part of my own daily routine, others I might add to my memory bank in the knowledge that someone else might find healing of their own.

And so there we have it, an agreement to write a blog, to keep you all updated with my progress, and to share those little nuggets of wisdom that I pick up along the way, in the hope that they might turn out to be a real treasure for you some day.

I look forward to seeing you along the way, and I hope that you will join me on this wonderful journey.

See you soon :)
